Residential Design

New Construction

A custom home designed from the ground up. With a new construction project we will work together to turn your dream home into a reality.

Renovations

Do you have a tired, or dated home? Hiring a designer can help revitalize your space and turn it into the area you’ve always wanted. Kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, all areas of the house need some updating every so often.

Additions

If you have started to outgrow your home, but don’t want to leave, a new addition could be your best choice. Bedroom additions, larger living areas, or even a new garage. What ever your dream is, we will work together to make it happen.

Process

Schematic Design

This is the initial phase of design. During this phase we will work together to explore your wants and needs for the project. We will gather any and all information from you about what you like and what you're looking for. During this phase we will explore options of your current and future goals. We will meet with you to discuss initial design iterations and help facilitate the design process towards the next phase.

Design Development

Once you select a design, this is where we start to expand on it. In this phase of design, we take the schematic design and any alterations you want and begin to turn it into a realized project.

Construction Documents

During this phase, we create the final drawings to be submitted for permitting and construction. We bring in information from other pertinent professionals such as engineers, landscapers, and interior designers and incorporate their drawings and expertise into our drawings. Specifications for doors, windows, appliances, fixtures etc. are all added in this phase, creating a set of drawings that are finalized and ready to be built.

Construction Administration

This is the final, and optional phase. During this phase we will help oversee and administer the construction process to ensure it complies with our design intent. This is accomplished through a variety of ways, including regular site visits, Observation Reports, and mediation to resolve any conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
